The most common signs of worms in your cat are an increase in appetite, upset stomach, diarrhoea, poor coat, pot belly or loss of weight. If worms are not treated they can cause serious problems especially in kittens and young cats. Regular treatment is the best protection.
Kittens are particularly vulnerable to worms so they should be treated at 4,6,8 and 12 weeks. Cats should be treated once every three months. However if you are worried you are best advised to consult your Vet. Pregnant cats need treatment every three weeks during pregnancy and while nursing kittens.
